"In 1985, at the instigation of Bob Slatzer, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors unanimously recommended that the investigation into the death of Marilyn Monroe be reopened. The Los Angeles County Grand Jury and the Judge of Criminal Courts unanimously concurred.

After examining all of the evidence, the Grand Jury and its foreman agreed that a conspiracy was involved in Marilyn Monroe's death. A press conference to announce this official inquiry was scheduled.

The day of the conference, L.A. County District Attorney Ira Reiner announced the firing and replacement of the Grand Jury foreman, the first time in California history that this has ever occurred. The newly appointed foreman promptly shut down the investigation.

To this day, the cover up continues."

In the many books written and published over the years I think it may be agreed that the Bob Slatzer 'Marilyn Files' perhaps best rounds up all of the players in the suspected murder of Marilyn Monroe. In my research it has been quite interesting to see a kind of parallel with the investigations and results and various conflicting witnesses and absence of investigation into areas of murder or assassination - a kind of parallel, even dry run, of what became known as the Warren Commission. Of all the suspicions and theories, and being sarcastic, it is surprising not to find that Marilyn Monroe knew Lee Harvey Oswald in her visits to Mexico with reported communist associations there.

Initially the conspiracy theories are confusing as to what exactly is the conspiracy. Conspiracy about what? The time of Marilyn Monroe's death? That seems to be what is pointed out - the time of death - and so what? How is that a conspiracy and why - a conspiracy to do what? Fix the time of death? What's the conspiracy? But finally the theories suspecting murder finally pan out. It is even reported Marilyn's murder was witnessed by ambulance personnel. Finally pulling it all together, the theories finally come together and are pointing the finger at United States Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy as ordering her murder the very night visiting her, and this was carried out by Marilyn Monroe's Dr. Ralph Greenson (psychiatrist) - claiming that during resuscitation he interrupted and injected the lethal amount barbiturates directly into Marilyn's heart, breaking off the needle and one of Marilyn Monroe's ribs. The only thing that could prove that is exhumation of Marilyn Monroe's body obviously. There will be a needle and broken rib if true. But going further since a National Cover Up again is accused (hiding RFK involvement) how can we believe it is really Marilyn in that crypt? Like Lee Harvey Oswald, maybe it is someone else. And conveniently for the person claiming he witnessed Marilyn Monroe murdered by the doctor, how can it be proved it is indeed Marilyn Monroe even with modern day DNA testing? No living relatives? Is it possible after so many years? Exhume relatives (mother) to compare?

Now in Bob Slatzer's book, his painstaking research and advantage, he writes, of having some witnesses speaking years later, really explains well the many conflicting witness reports. The bottom line is, the conclusion is, that Robert F. Kennedy was romantically involved with Marilyn Monroe and broke off and ordered her murdered to keep all under wraps from the American public. Bob really brings together the major witnesses and conflictions and puts them together in the manner to make sense finally of a probable chronology of the events leading up to Marilyn's death. As an example, Marilyn Monroe's housekeeper has apparently changed her story approximately 5 times in the 30 years thereafter.

My research reveals to me, and perhaps you the reader, that the best sources for the truth and facts of Marilyn Monroe's death are the three persons involved and present at the autopsy. In comparing all things, these three seem the only ones speaking and able to speak the truth and were all present at the autopsy. Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney John W. Miner; Deputy Coroner Lionel Grandison; and Dr. Thomas Noguchi of the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office.

Although the Robert F. Kennedy theory is very, very compelling on surface value - it gets shot to hell by the facts documented and testified that are not in dispute. And simply two if not three points are the claim of the doctor injecting the barbiturates directly in the heart, and the bruised hip and fanny claim caused by dropping Marilyn - the third point calling in witnesses claiming Robert F. Kennedy was there that night and his people saying he was not.

There is one problem I find in believing autopsy deputy 100 percent. He gives statement about the "Red Diary" book. Claiming two days later he sent personel to the home to gather up anything that "would give clue to next of kin" is quite unbelievable. Her death flashed all over the world. Is he saying none of her relatives called in over 48 hours? Because he said they brought back the Red Diary, he paged through it and saw curious references to JFK and mob figures etc. and locked it up and the next day it was gone. So that is now three days and none of Marilyn's releatives have yet called in? How about her former husbands? This is Marilyn Monroe earning over 200 million dollars (about one billion inflation adjusted) completely documented at Film studios and was married to Joe DiMaggio, good grief, there was no way to find out who her next of kin was without going back to her house to look for any clues? That is simply not believable.
